Varnishing
Yes, machine and UV varnishing are both possible. Best results are obtained by sealing the sheet before varnishing. For very high gloss results it may be necessary to Matt UV varnish on top of the sealer before Gloss UV varnishing. Good results have been obtained by spot varnishing on solids or dense tones by either method. Any varnish applied directly to unprinted areas of the sheet may cause variations. It is recommended that trials are carried out on lower grammages.
