Yes, 160gsm and above. Machine or UV screen varnishing are both possible, provided it is carried out on top of emulsion sealer. For high gloss results it will be necessary to matt UV varnsih on top of emulsion sealer before gloss UV varnishing. Good results have been obtained by spot varnishing on solid or dense tones by either method. Any varnish applied directly to unprinted areas of the sheet may cause variation in gloss levels.
