heaven 42

Heaven 42 - pushing the boundaries of whiteness. The new absolute white, soft, matt coated paper from Scheufelen!
As white as an uncoated sheet, Heaven 42 is exclusive to Robert Horne.

Heaven 42 is a truly evolutionary leap in paper development; an extraordinary white coated grade, which has been developed from pure, natural raw materials, providing an excellent super smooth and outstanding white printing surface. Its unique matt finish offers optimum compatibility with white uncoated stock, ideal for complementary text and cover requirements. This completely new paper dimension is the answer to the future of printing giving superb ink lift and colour reproduction whatever the printing requirement.

The grade is also FSC certified (the standards for well-managed forests, considering environmental, social and economic issues) ensuring that Heaven 42 is able to meet the increasing demands from printers and end-clients for a product with excellent environmental credentials.

Combine these factors with good runnability, reader friendly contrast, optimum drying characteristics and a high level of rub resistance then Heaven 42 is truly an innovative product which meets every aspect required from a modern and new grade.

Heaven 42 is available from stock in weights of 115-300gsm, in most popular printing sizes, all backed up with Robert Horne’s unrivalled service package of next day samples, delivery, technical and product expertise.

Printing inks
Use of ink formulated for matt coated papers and boards is preferred. Metallic colours do not create a very good metallic effect. Special colours eg Pantone can have a slight change in tone, due to the high whiteness of Heaven 42. We recommend consultations with the ink manufacturers.
Embossing
Yes
Varnishing
Machine or UV silk screen varnishing are both possible. Best results are obtained on top of emulsion sealing. Good results have been obtained by spot varnishing on solids or dense tones by either method. Any varnish applied directly to unprinted areas of the sheet may cause variations in gloss levels.
Emulsion sealing
Yes, 130g/m² and above, below this weight there may be a tendency to curl, therefore a trial is recommended to ensure that the result is satisfactory.

Yes

Creasing
If folding material 150g/m² and above or through a solid or dense tone, pre-creasing is advisable using a creasing matrix
