Polystyrene is a low cost thermoplastic material manufactured by the extrusion process.

• Printable by screen or litho process (special grade available)
  
• Thermoformable - suitable for thermoforming
  
• Good resistance to alkalis, salt solutions and dilute inorganic acids
  
• HIP is not resistant to hydrocarbons, oxidising agents or polar solvents
  
  
• Standard stock sizes can be guillotined to bespoke sizes on request
  Available from ex-mill stock:
  
• UV resistant grades - offer improved outdoor weathering resistance
  
• Fire retardant grades - for use in fire risk areas
  
• Minimum ordering quantity for special sizes and standard colours 500kg
  
• Minimum sheet size 300 x 500mm
  
• Maximum sheet size 1500 x 4500mm
  
• Tolerances width -0mm/+3mm, Length -0mm/+4mm up to 2000mm. Above 2000mm tolerances to be agreed
  
• Gauge -0/+0.10mm 0.25 to 5.00mm
  
• Sheets are not square cut. Diagonal tolerance 4mm up to 1200mm length, 6mm up to 2000mm length. Above 2000mm tolerance to be agreed
