Robert Horne is delighted to announce that its coated grade, Tempo Silk, specifically developed to offer printers increased productivity and faster job turnaround, has played a major part in securing a new world record by printer Rosler Druck of Stuttgart.

Rosler Druck managed to print at least 103 different 1,000 sheet print jobs on a single offset press within a 24 hour period.  The company set the new world record in May on a six-colour Man Roland 7000 press, achieving an amazing 169 plate changes. Tempo Silk 150 gsm printed on both sides, with a job change after every 1,000 good sheets.

Tempo Silk is a brand new concept in paper. A breakthrough in technology has brought about the development and launch of a silk coating which is truly unique. This patented coating means that in the majority of cases there is no need to add a protective sealer or varnish, so printing on the reverse can be achieved within 15 minutes and conversion after only 30 minutes. All of these characteristics, combined with a superb silk coated finish and outstanding surface, make Tempo Silk a truly innovative product.
