Superior Recycled Paper at an Everyday Price

13th March 2008

Robert Horne customers can now help protect the environment with HP Recycled. Developed by International Paper in its environmentally conscious Inverurie Mill, HP Recycled is made from 100 per cent post consumer waste fibres and is competitively priced to enable everyday use in the home or office

The new paper underpins a commitment to conserve natural resources and reduce waste; and answers consumer demand for environmentally responsible paper products. HP Recycled is endorsed by the independent National Association of Paper Merchants.

In the past, environmentally-conscious paper users had to choose between high-cost or low-quality recycled papers, meaning many companies were forced to limit use of recycled papers for specific jobs and low print runs.  In contrast, HP Recycled, which is available in A4 & A3 80gsm, delivers the premium quality of non-recyclable papers and has specifically been designed and priced as a versatile product for everyday use, such as memos, drafts, file copies, meeting notes and email print-outs.

International Paper has a number of eco-friendly systems at its Inverurie Mill, to contribute to economic sustainability. It owns and operates a biological water treatment plant and has forestry certifications (including PEFC and FSC Chain of Custody), which guarantee that all wood pulp is from well-managed legal and non-controversial sources.  In addition, 100 percent of the Mill’s energy is supplied through natural gas.
