Robert Horne introduces revive Honeycomb Board - a 'green' alternative to traditional foam boards

22nd April 2010

revive, available exclusively from the Robert Horne Group, is the world's most trusted brand of recycled papers and boards. Recognising the need for a ‘greener' alternative to traditional foam boards in the graphical and display markets, Robert Horne is proud to announce the launch of revive Honeycomb Board. This printable display board is made from recycled fibre and is 100% recyclable after use.

revive Honeycomb Board offers designers and fabricators a truly recyclable, environmentally conscious, quality board that is both attractive and helps reduce waste to landfill. This exciting new board consists of a recycled paper honeycomb core with a white, clay coated printable surface. It is produced using virgin and recycled fibre, with a minimum 20% recycled content and is chlorofluorocarbon free. It provides an excellent ‘environmentally friendly' alternative to traditional foam boards like polyethylene (PE), polystyrene (PS) or polyvinylchloride (PVC).

revive Honeycomb Board has a unique structure to handle the most demanding of applications in the graphic display market due to its high rigidity and dimensional stability. It is double glued to increase integrity and has a lower moisture content to improve stability.

It is suitable with inks and adhesives both water or solvent-based, acrylic and hot melt.  Available in a choice of 6mm or 10mm thicknesses with a sheet size of 1200mm x 2440mm; bespoke sheet sizes and thickness options are also available. Applications for revive Honeycomb range from POS, display, signage, packaging and boxes.
