revive for the RNLI

18th January 2010

revive pure white, 100% recycled offset paper has recently been used as the material of choice for the Royal National Lifeboat Institution (RNLI), the charity that saves lives at sea.  Printed by L&S Printing of Worthing, the RNLI produces quarterly newsletters entitled Compass for each of their seven regions.

The choice of paper for their newsletters is very important to the RNLI; it has to be an offset recycled grade with exemplary green credentials to meet their environmental responsibilities. L&S Printing are industry leading environmental printing specialists, with experienced knowledge of working with revive, the UK's leading recycled paper and board range.

Aaron Lomasney, Director of L&S Printing explained why revive was chosen "The RNLI is acutely aware of global ecological issues and sought to produce their literature in a socially and environmentally responsible manner. The Compass newsletters had to be produced onto a 100% recycled offset with FSC accreditation, and it had to give excellent quality of print. The RNLI regularly specify revive as they are looking for a quality recycled grade that answers their corporate responsibilities but also fits their budgetary requirements and needs."

Aaron added, "At L&S Printing we use a lot of revive paper and board because we can be assured of its consistent qualities of  smoothness, good whiteness, quality of print, fast drying time and consistency on press. These credentials are imperative with tight schedules and print demands.  revive is the immediate choice when a recycled grade is required and we were confident to recommend this grade to our clients".

revive pure white offset, available exclusively from Robert Horne, is a 100% post-consumer grade, produced from pulp bleached using a totally chlorine free (TCF) process with FSC accreditation available in a wide range of weights and popular printing sizes.
