Graphics Works invest in the best
18th February 2011
Graphics Works, based in Milton Keynes was set up some 5 years ago by Peter Barham and his two partners, Ian Handscombe and Nick Biss. The company specialises in printing exhibition work and digital wallpaper. In what have been labelled tough times Graphics Works has gone from strength to strength and is not afraid to invest for future growth.
Graphics Works is extolling the benefits for businesses investing in the finest technology to enhance performance and profitability. During the last four years Graphics Works has invested well in excess of £100,000 on 11 machines, all sourced from Robert Horne.
Peter Barham, Graphics Works explains why he continues to invest in printing technology from Robert Horne: "Over the last four years we have continued to invest in a variety of printers and laminators from Mimaki's to Canon. This investment has allowed us to grow our business and output. We can look back and see that we have made some excellent buying choices over the years and many of those decisions were a result of well-guided advice from Robert Horne's sales specialists. All the printers run 24/7, providing a huge capacity, high returns and minimal downturn.
Robert Horne took me to Holland to see the AS1600 liquid coater in action before deciding on this model. Then due to an urgent order, we had the machine delivered, installed and working within 4 days.
Initially we weren't looking at Mimaki as our first choice of printer, but we were so impressed by the print and build quality, the in-house knowledge at Robert Horne and the white ink capability, that we ended up buying two and have remained loyal to Robert Horne ever since.
We have a great working relationship with the team at Robert Horne. In simple terms they offer the full package. They have solid relationships with the manufacturers; excellent pre and post sales expertise and they find a way of delivering what we need when we need it, despite unreasonable requests. In other words they go the extra mile to clinch the deal, and they bring biscuits!"
Peter continues: "Robert Horne offers an extremely broad portfolio, from machines to a full range of digital media, plastics, paper, board and consumables. The large stock holding is vital in providing confidence that product will be available when needed. Materials experts at Robert Horne are only a phone call away."
Robert Horne is committed to keeping customers abreast of the technology available to them and what may be available in the future.
Sarah Fenna, Hardware Product Sales Manager, Robert Horne elaborates: "Graphics Works prove that by investing in the right technology you can certainly grow your business and your profits. I really enjoy working with the team at Graphics Works. By offering best advice, quick delivery and competitive prices there is a sense of team work and trust between us, which will see us continue to work together in the future. In sales there is nothing more rewarding than seeing the products you sell, making a marked difference to a business."
Robert Horne Group is the UK's leading supplier of a vast array of materials, from paper and board to plastics. A unique combination of high quality, cost effective products is supported by added value services and in-depth industry knowledge.
