Robert Horne wins Wholesaler of the Year 2011 and Best Stand awards at Nemo Group's 2011 Conference.
Robert Horne Group had a great result at this year's Nemo Group conference, taking the award for the best stand and, crucially, Wholesaler of the Year 2011.
The Awards Ceremony took place on the night of Saturday 25 June and marked a real highlight for Robert Horne at the three-day conference, which ran from 24-26 June at The Vale Resort, Vale of Glamorgan.
Paul Farrell, director of Robert Horne's reseller division, was delighted with the awards. Commenting on the award for Wholesaler of the Year 2011 he said, "it's great to get this recognition from Nemo. We've worked really hard over the last 12 months to build our relationship with the Group and this shows that we are going in the right direction. We're looking to further develop our relationship over the next year and move from our current status of a secondary supplier to Nemo to lead. I'm really pleased for the reseller division at Robert Horne too who have worked very hard to get us to this point in a short space of time, an exceptional team effort."
The Best Stand Award was in recognition of Robert Horne's effort to inject some fun into the event. The conference started on Friday night with an ‘All the fun of the fair' themed evening, which Robert Horne continued through to Saturday with a fairground themed stand, with popcorn machine, fairground fancy dress, and a competition to win a hot air balloon ride - won by Les Wilson at JL Group. Sarah Barnes, Reseller Customer Segment Manager said, "We had a lot of fun on the stand but it was also a great opportunity for us to talk to Nemo Group members about some of our new products. We're known mainly for selling our range of office papers, such as HP, Motif and Navigator but we've recently launched a great range of competitively priced envelopes as well as packaging materials and the Remarkable range of recycled stationery, which are being really well received."
